Privacy Policy

Typer is a mobile arcade typing game. This policy explains what information the app uses, why it is used, and how to contact us about privacy questions.

Information stored on your device

Typer stores game progress locally on your device, including settings, selected language, speed preference, age range setting, coins, powerups, completed levels, best scores, WPM results, achievements-related progress, and whether Remove Ads is owned. This local data is used to run the game experience.

Analytics and diagnostics

Typer uses Firebase Analytics to understand app performance and gameplay health, such as app opens, level starts, level completions, WPM results, ad availability, purchase status, and crash-free usage. Typer does not send raw typed words, typed input, email addresses, or direct contact details as analytics event data.

Typer uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostics, such as crash logs, device and operating system information, app version, and technical state at the time of a crash. This helps us fix bugs and improve stability.

Typer uses Firebase Remote Config to adjust non-personal game and monetization settings, such as ad timing, rewarded coin amounts, and feature flags.

Accounts

Typer does not require a Typer account. If you use Google Play Games or Apple Game Center, those services may process your platform profile, achievements, leaderboard scores, and sign-in state according to their own privacy policies. If you contact support by email, we will use your email address only to respond to your request.

Advertising

Typer uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads to show optional rewarded ads, banner ads, and occasional interstitial ads at natural breaks such as results or level transitions. Google may process data such as device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and other advertising-related signals to provide, measure, and improve ads.

Purchases

Typer offers an optional Remove Ads purchase. Purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store. Typer receives purchase status needed to unlock the feature, but we do not receive your full payment card details.

Data sharing

Typer may share limited app, device, diagnostics, purchase status, advertising, and gameplay analytics data with service providers that help operate the app, including Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google Play, and Apple services. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Children

Typer is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support contact, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices

• You can reset or delete local game data by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.
• You can manage ad personalization through your device or Google account settings.
• You can use platform controls for Google Play Games or Apple Game Center.
• You can restore eligible purchases through the app's Restore Purchases option.
• You can request deletion of support emails you sent by contacting us.

Data retention

Local gameplay data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain support records. Analytics, crash, advertising, purchase, Play Games, and Game Center data are retained according to the policies and controls of the relevant service providers.
